KUMFA

Daegu Korean Unwed Mothers and Family Association (D-KUMFA) is an independent organization that helps single and low-income mothers/families, the handicapped and assists Korean Adoptees in finding their families all across South Korea. They operate several women’s shelters and they are the only organization with offices in rural areas of South Korea.
Daegu KUMFA also provides up to 100-150 baby boxes per month, to low income families so that they have the basic supplies they need to take care of their children.  Daegu KUMFA also provides monthly workshops and programs to help the Mothers and organizes special activities for the kids. D-KUMFA partners with other Single Mother organizations to expand the help they provide. They operate solely on donations and with volunteers.
